Dust and welding fume settle on your machines, push you past air-quality limits, and reach the people working closest to the source. NAF captures it at source, German engineered with our partners ULMATEC and AFS, built and serviced from India.
A technology partner with extraction systems designed to German standards and a team in your city that designs, builds, installs, and maintains every one of them.
We design, manufacture, install, and maintain every system - one team accountable for all of it, from the first floor visit to annual service.
A modular kit design lets systems scale with your production - add machines, volume, or processes without replacing the core installation.
Welding fume, grinding dust, coolant and oil mist, odour and VOC, explosive dust, and post-operation cleaning - matched to what you generate.
Standard components in customised configurations - quicker delivery, easier maintenance, and lower lifetime cost than a bespoke build.
Variable-speed drives, IE3/IE4 motors, low-pressure-drop media, and reusable filters cut energy against fixed-speed, fixed-capacity systems.
ISO 9001, OSHA-compliant, and ATEX/PESO configurations - built to Indian and international workplace airquality standards.
NAF Dust Extractors, built under licence from ULMATEC GmbH and manufactured in Chennai, capture fine particulate at source across metalworking, foundries, woodworking, pharma, and recycling. Each unit is configured from seven independent modules – exhaust air, fan, filter cleaning, controls, filter, discharge, and mobility – in seven size classes covering 100 to 250,000 m³/h. Automatic JetPulse compressed-air cleaning holds filter resistance low, with media running up to 6,000 operating hours between changes. Configurations meet TRGS, AGW, OSHA, VDI 2262, and ATEX limits for combustible dusts. Discharge options span 16 to 160-litre containers, drawers, BigBag stations, and conveyors.
NAF Smoke Filters, licensed from ULMATEC GmbH and built in Chennai, capture welding, soldering, laser, and plasma-cutting fume – including sub-micron particles carrying chromium, nickel, and zinc-oxide compounds. The multi-stage system combines a cyclone pre-separator with spark protection, a cartridge main filter, a HEPA H13/H14 after-filter for sub-micron capture, and an activated-carbon stage where gaseous components are present. Available from 100 to 250,000 m³/h across seven sizes, from single workstations to central hall systems. JetPulse selfcleaning keeps resistance low; storage filters and pre-coating prevent blinding in oily welding. Meets TRGS 900 and DGUV 109-002 exposure limits.
NAF Mist Collectors, built with AFS Airfilter Systeme GmbH of Germany and manufactured in Chennai, capture oil and emulsion mist from CNC machining, grinding, and EDM before it coats machines, electronics, or the hall air. Contaminated air passes a six-stage sequence: five mechanical pre-separation stages strip mist progressively, centred on a maintenance-free longlife baffle-plate separator with no media to replace. A final HEPA H13 stage captures 99.95% of residual aerosols at 0.3 µm. Models 600, 1100, 1600, 3000, and 4000 mount on the machine or serve several machines centrally. An optional sound-insulated housing runs below 72 dB.
NAF Wet Separators, licensed from ULMATEC GmbH and built in Chennai, capture explosive and flammable dusts – aluminium, magnesium, titanium – by binding particles in water at the point of contact. With no dry filter cake to clog and no dust accumulation in the chamber, the primary cause of dust explosions is removed by physics. This is the only wet separator with air-volume regulation, matching fan output to demand for roughly 35% lower energy use, with around 85% of water-contacting parts in SS 304/316L. Available 2,500 to 10,000 m³/h. Options: ATEX, WaterSafe Pro water recovery, and panel or HEPA after-filters.
NAF Extraction Tables, licensed from ULMATEC GmbH and built in Chennai, integrate capture into the work surface for deburring, soldering, polishing, and manual grinding – where the work moves and a fixed arm or hood would need constant repositioning. Air is drawn down through the table top, capturing dust, chips, and fumes at workpiece level before they reach the breathing zone. Segment monitoring activates extraction only at the section in use. Tables start at 750 mm and expand in 750 mm steps, with static load capacity up to 3,000 kg. Four surfaces – grid grate, wood, plasma-cut, anti-static – matched to your process.
Grinding, turning, milling and drilling dust captured before it reaches machines and operators.
MIG, TIG, arc, laser and plasma fume - including sub-micron CrNi and zinc-oxide smoke.
High-temperature process dust and reactive metal particulate, with ATEX where required.
Mixing, sieving, weighing, vibroshaker and conveyor-line powder capture to hygiene standards.
Coolant and oil mist from highspeed machining captured at the machine, before it disperses.
Soldering fume and fine particulate captured at anti-static downdraft workstations.
